The author needs to improve his composition a little and forget the excessive post shutter processing. But this book is about low light photography and he covers it well.

The book nevertheless has a lot of very useful information and tips for low light photography. I particularly valued the many photographs included to help illustrate the text.

Many readers may well be put off by the constant references to changing the film and the selection of films you should carry in your bag/5(91). There certainly aren't enough good books on the subject of low light/night photography, so I was pleased when I had an opportunity to read Jill Waterman's book.

There are a lot of things to like about this book. The overall print quality is excellent--with a lot of excellent photo samples on every page. This alone makes the book worthwhile.4/5(25).
